Vera McGlaston- Dining Services Manager
Vera’s experience in food service in assisted living spans more than 23 years. She spent six years in restaurant food service prior to her current career. She was instrumental in developing a diners committee with the residents to meet their dining preferences.
Vera attended MBTI and Jackson State University prior to receiving training in the food service industry. The most rewarding aspect to food services is making the residents healthy and happy.
Vera enjoys life as a wife, mother and grandmother. The weekend is dedicated to entertaining and cooking for family and friends. Her home is always a hub of activity, with backyard basketball games or singing in the kitchen.
