My mother is 93 years old, and is in fair health for her age. She has been a resident of Brookfield Gardens since February 2003.
When it became necessary to find an assisted living residence for my mother, I visited a facilities in the Brookfield area. Brookfield Gardens was the choice for a number of reasons.
As in any business or institution, people make the difference. The staff is excellent at all levels and provides good individualized personal care as required.
Thank you and your staff for all that you’ve done to get my mother to where she is today. It was certainly a long, hard road and I believe that she wouldn’t be where she is today without your help. Your staff seemed to know the right things to do in order to help her. I’m sure that she was not the easiest resident you’ve had, but everyone was very kind and thoughtful in caring for her. Please thank everyone for making her life pleasant.
I have been negligent in not writing to you about my stay. It seems I cannot get done all I want to do here at home especially with spring coming. I’m a yardman— especially so when the doctor says, "Get Some Exercise!"
But... I must compliment you and your entire staff about my care. I always feel one can tell much about a service or a business by the way they respond to your needs. Your staff responded to my comfort even before I was uncomfortable.
If the staff is efficient it is because the directors have selected and trained them to properly care for their patients. And that is what you have done, in your quiet way, for which I shall be forever grateful.
